LOL, Tiggy got chased up a tree by a terrier. She ran up too high, it took us about 30mins to coax her down. Even Matthew clambering into the tree didn't help. It was only the last resort method (i.e. "Oh fine, I'll get the ladder then") that worked - when Matt came back with the ladder Tiggy began to make her way down the branches gingerly. She finally jumped down, we shooed her into the house and she just flopped over for a while. She's so unfit XD we gave her some treats and brought water out for her. She finally seemed to perk up after a few minutes.

I wish I took a photo XD When Matt was halfway up the tree, imploring Tiggy to come down into his arms, and Tiggy one level of branches higher, mewing "No!"

Heehee, I went shopping at Tesco Bar Hill today, they have quite a large aisle dedicated to kitties.... so after reading lots about feline nutrition on the helpful link page like_milk gave me, I bought a few more flavours of cat food, and lots of little wet food pouches/tins as a treat for Tiggy. I want her to be ultra happy and healthy, so I'm worried about just keeping her on dry food... so I may alternate between the food types during the week so she can look forward to variety at meal times ^_^

She really likes Iams chicken in gravy for seniors. I've just checked her bowl - totally empty, all the gravy is licked off clean too! I hope that means we're not starving her o.O;; we put in lots of dry food, but she usually only eats a bit of it at a time and leaves some at the bottom... Seeing how successful the wet food as gone down, I think I may switch her onto it more often, if it means knowing exactly how much she should eat and knowing she'll eat it in one go, so we don't worry about who fed her last, when was it, argh theres lots left, is she full, etc.

We also found a toy that drives her insane! A little fluffy thing stuffed with catnip, covered with fur, and that vibrates when you pull it's tail and release it. She goes totally bonkers the moment she catches a whiff of this, and after a while of playing with it, will bounce all over the room like a bullet stuck in an indestructible microwave. I've decided I will take it out only when she gets reaaaally bored, or she will stay hyper for ages.
